The
RPL National Conference is an integral component in CETA's
strategy to deliver RPL assessment services within its
broad constituency and client market. CETA sees the National
Conference as a key driver in its vision to provide a
cost-effective, efficient, transparent and assessable
RPL model for its clients. In tandem with the National
Conference, planning will be initiated for a RPL International
Conference in South Africa in 2002. |

Private
sector involvement |
|
|
 |
 |
| |
|
The
government is increasingly looking towards the private
sector to identify, develop and promote the education,
training and qualification of its people, as the public
sector alone cannot meet the human resource development
requirements. The challenge for the private sector is
to consider structures that will ensure viable strategies,
on skills development and qualification for the country
and beneficiaries alike. RPL provides a solution to this
challenge.
Research indicates that the private sector is better able
to provide management and funding to supplement scarce
government resources. Whether you are an executive in
the Construction Industry or other industrial sectors,
or a provider of assessment or learning opportunities,
or involved in the broad human resource development market
- attending this Conference will ensure that you are fully
conversant, informed and positioned to take advantage
of the opportunities in human resource development afforded
by RPL.
